Seven Mile Beach, as seen by the people in the water today.

After a run of barracuda encounters along the beach, we wanted one place where swimmers, snorkellers and parents could say what they saw, where, and when. Anyone can post. Nothing is verified. Read it the way you'd read a note pinned up at the beach bar: useful, sometimes wrong, better than nothing.

  1. Look before you go in. The flag and the chart show what has been reported in the last 24 hours and 7 days. Hover or tap a point on the chart to see the reports for that spot.
  2. Report what you saw. Pick the spot, the danger and when you saw it. Activity, distance from shore, your name and a comment are optional. It takes about twenty seconds and goes live immediately.
